    General guidelines

To accelerate the review process and to prevent revision of each manuscript more than once, please make sure that the presentation of your manuscript is strictly consistent with the example manuscript (typical paper or abstract) in terms of page size (A4 or 210 mm x 297 mm), fonts, spacings, margins, justification, tables, figures, references, etc. Ensure also that the dates and authors of the references are consistent with the reference list.

    • Only PDF files will be accepted for session papers, for workshop position papers, and for workshop abstracts.
    • Although the recommended format for writing session abstracts is the same than for the session papers who will be derived from them, have in mind that the WCMT only accept session abstracts in a text window form (up to 2 pages of plain text, 8500 characters aprox., 1300 words aprox.).

If you are contributing multiple manuscripts, your initials should be identical on all manuscripts. For example, C.S. Lewis on one manuscript and C. Lewis on another is confusing and is not acceptable.

If English is not your native language, would be very convenient than a native English speaker proofread your manuscript.

    Format for Papers

Here you can find the details on style and format for the papers:

    • Instructions for a paper (Word version, PDF version)
    • A typical paper example (Word version, PDF version)
    • LATEX files: iEMSs style file, iEMSs bibliography style file, an example of an iEMSs LATEX file, and an example of an iEMSs bibliography file thanks to Marc Cameron, Regis Sabbadin and Javier Béjar (LATEX files)

    Format for Abstracts

Basically the format for abstracts is the same than for papers. Although the recommended format for writing session abstracts is the same than for the session papers who will be derived from them, have in mind that the WCMT only accept session abstracts in a text window form (up to 2 pages of plain text, 8500 characters aprox., 1300 words aprox.).
