Information for Authors


What to Submit?
Materials submitted for publication in Reliable Computing may represent: Responses, amendments, and additions to published materials can be submitted as Letters to the Editor.

Language
All papers should be in English.

Title page
The first page of the manuscript should contain the article title, author's name, current postal and email addresses, and, if necessary, a running head (condensed version of the title) which should not exceed 60 characters. There should be a brief abstract (no more than 12 lines long).

Figures
Figures can be either placed in the body of the text or supplied on separate sheets. In the latter case, the author should mark in the margin of the manuscript where the figures are to be inserted. For figures submitted as computer files, PostScript (preferably) as well as PCX or TIF formats are allowed.

References
References should be numbered and listed at the end of the article.
LaTeX
Reliable Computing prefers the submission of papers prepared in LaTeX. However, papers made in AMS-TeX, AMS-LaTeX, Plain TeX, as well as those prepared for conventional typesetting will also be accepted. The eventual supply of papers accepted for publication in their final LaTeX version by e-mail or on MS-DOS/Windows format diskettes together with a hardcopy version (in case anything needs to be checked) will ensure more rapid publication.

Using either the standard article.sty from LaTeX distribution or the publisher's style file is encouraged but not obligatory. If you use any non-standard style file, you should enclose it with the electronic version of the paper.

Where to submit
For the refereeing purposes, papers for publication should be initially submitted in three hard copies (and, if possible, in electronic copy by e-mail) to the Editor-in-Chief at the following address:

Refereeing
All papers submitted for publication are subject to review, and may be admitted, rejected, or sent to the author for revision.

Free reprints
The authors of every published paper will receive 50 free reprints of their paper.
