Registration Information

Registration

 Please register for RANDOM '98 by filling the attached registration form. You should send it to the Workshop Secretariat by airmail, fax or e-mail. To send it by e-mail, retrieve the corresponding file with the registration form, from our web page, fill it and send it to \texttt{random98@lsi.upc.es} Confirmation of the registration will be sent after we receive your registration form and a copy of the receipt of your payment (see section below).

The prices listed above are in Spanish Pesetas (Ptas.). One US dollars is approximately 155 Ptas. The registration fees (both full and student) include the workshop materials, coffee breaks, lunches and proceedings. The full registration fee also includes the workshop dinner. Students and accompanying persons can buy separate tickets for the dinner. Additional lunch tickets will be available on site. Students should also send a certification of their full-time student status.

The registration desk will be open before the workshop on Wednesday 7th evening and during the sessions.

Accommodation

We have reserved a number of single rooms in the Residencia Marti Codolar from October 7th to 11th. The residence is a former Catholic Seminar used as (good quality) student dormitory it is reachable from the University in about 40-50 minutes by public transportation. Please check with the secretariat availability outside these dates.

including breakfast and taxes costs 2675 Ptas. per night.

Apart from the accommodation in the Residence we have reserved a limited number of rooms in other hotels, in Barcelona and Castelldefels. Castelldefels is located by the beach 25 km from the center of Barcelona and 8km from the airport, reachable by train in about 20-25 minutes. Participants interested in accomodation in one of these hotels should fill the enclosed Hotel Reservation Form and return it either by surface mail or by fax to the travel agency ULTRAMAR EXPRESS.

Reservation will be handled on a first-come first server basis. In case individual requests cannot be accommodated due to exceeding demand, alternatives will be suggested. Please take into account that the week-end is a long one, October 12th is holiday. Furthermore some other big conferences are scheduled during the week-end. We strongly recommend participants to make reservations as soon as possible.

Hotel Reservation Information

In order to make your hotel reservation fill out the attached form and send it by fax or surface mail to ULTRAMAR EXPRESS. To guarantee your reservation, a nonrefundable deposit of one night per room is the minimum required. The hotel reservation form explains how to send the deposit. Reservation should have been made preferably by September 5th, 1998. Reservations after the date above will be accepted on rate and space availability. For special requirements, modifications on your reservation, etc. please contact the travel agency.

Prices below are given per room and night, including breakfast and taxes. Hotels located in Castelldefels are reachable from the University in about 40-50 minutes by public transportation. Hotel in the University Area is within walking distance (10-15 minutes) from the University.
