Research activities

Marc Oriol is a postdoctoral researcher at UPC. PhD and MSc in Computing, UPC. Researcher at the GESSI-inSSIDE research group at the UPC. He was a PostDoctoral research fellow in University of Pisa, Italy (2015). He has more than 35 peer-reviewed publications and a H-factor 13 (according to Google Scholar). His interests include Service Oriented Computing, Self-Adaptive Systems and Monitoring, among others. He has participated in the organization of several conferences and workshops: ICSE 2020 (Virtualization team member), PROFES 2019 (Publicity Co-chair), ICSOC 2017 (Publication chair) and WAS4FI Workshop 2015 (member of the workshop organization). He has also been a reviewer of multiple journals (e.g. ESWA, IJCIS, JSS, TSC) and PC member of international conferences (e.g. PROFES, RCIS, RE@next).
