However, since it is located nearby the Northem Campus of the UPC, we would recommend you to have a look at the TORRE GIRONA RESIDENCE.
This residence is located in one of the most quite and exclusive areas in
Barcelona, nearly inside the Campus Nord (Northem Campus) of the UPC, in the
district of Pedralbes. It works also as a hotel and its prices are quite cheap
in relation to other hotels in the city. The residence was inaugurated in
september 2002, as part of a dea with the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
There are three different types of rooms: single rooms (41 euros approx.),
double rooms for 1 person (46 euros approx.), and double rooms for 2 people (68
euros aprox.).
For these prices to be applied, you have to mention that you
come to an event organized by the UPC (Universitat Politècnica de
Catalunya). Otherwise the rooms have a more expensive price. If they ask you for

There are also rooms that have been specially designed for
handicapped persons. Its 106 rooms dispose of:
- Fully equipped kitchen fitted with electrical stove plates, smoke extractor and refrigerator, kitchen utensils and all kind of appliances to clean.
