PhD.
The UPC’s Phd programs offer advanced formation for research. They are taught through courses, seminars or other activities and they include the elaboration and presentation of a Phd dissertation consisting in an original piece of research. The accomplishment of these goals leads to the obtainment of a Phd degree in Computer Science.
The Computer Science Department organizes two Phd programs:
- Computing, in the areas of Computational theory, Logic and Programming, Parallel Algorithms and Computer Graphics.
- Artificial Intelligence, in the areas of Natural Language, Automatic Learning, Robotics, Knowledge Engineering and Knowledge-Based Systems.
