RGBGlobal™ is a program created for the Spanish Pavilion at the 2002 Venice Biennial. It was presented as a powerful software for the architectural office of the 21st century. I developed this software in collaboration with the mathematician Toni Guillamon and the architects Toni Montes, Lluís Ortega and Alejandro Zaera-Polo.

Architecture has traditionally been a local endeavour, but every day it becomes more important to be able integrate decisions into the global market, even if the architectonic operation is attached to a local domain. RGBGlobal™ is a tool that allows the architect to position him or herself in an increasingly changeable, complex global market while at the same time encourages the development of local specificity through customization of the machine. The program analyzes how stock market evolution impacts architectonic tendencies.

RGBGlobal™ employs parameters such as the stock market, architectonic tendencies, taste, etc. In order to establish the relationship among various parameters a neuronal network was trained using 5000 predefined situations. After the training the machine was able to simulate human behaviour in 99% of cases.
