How long do I have?
20 minutes for the talk, plus 5 minutes for questions.
What equipment is available? How do I set up?
Please bring your own laptop to the podium for your talk. If you do not have a laptop with you, please see Priscilla Rasmussen at the Registration Desk well before your session to make arrangements. There will be one hard-wired connection to the internet at the podium in each session room. If your presentation requires anything beyond the "standard" setup in the meeting rooms, please alert Priscilla Rasmussen at the Registration Desk as soon as possible prior to your talk. "Standard" setup includes one LCD projection package and screen, one wireless lapel microphone, and one internet connection.
Who is chairing my session?
Session chairs will be listed also in the conference program. Please arrive early for your session to set up your slides and introduce yourself to the session chair. The session chair will help in the following ways:
- Introduce you when it is time to start
(make sure he or she knows how to pronounce your name)
- Signal to you if you are inaudible
- Hold up time cards when you have 5, 2, and 0 minutes left
- Call on questioners during the question period
