Pere-Pau Vázquez

Associate Professor at the Facultat d'Informàtica de Barcelona (FIB).

I teach Computer Graphics, Visualization, and Rendering courses. For a list of Project proposals (Treballs Finals de Grau and Tesis de Màster) go to the teaching section.

My current research interests are Visualization, User Interaction, and Mobile Graphics. Previously, my research has focused on applications of Information Theory to Computer Graphics. I carry out my research in the ViRVIG research group.

    Final Projects (Treball Final de Grau i Tesi de Màster)

    I commonly supervise final projects in the area of computer graphics and/or mobile applications. Should you be interested in such a project, feel free to contact me. I have, however, other proposals waiting for interested students:
  • Chart generation on an Android device from public databases: The idea of the project is to be able to visualize data from public databases (e.g. sensor results, employment evolution) in a friendly and flexible way.
  • Image comparison metrics: There are a bunch of image comparison metrics. The objective here is to implement a set of techniques and evaluate their behavior.
